Description: I turned my face to the other side, struggling to breathe since it almost felt like I was being smothered. I was terrified and screaming inside, calling out for my mother to come and save me. My screams melted into the night unheard by the one person who was supposed to be there for me always. I was a child, ignored by my own mother to the extent that she never heard my cry for help. Not then, not ever. As a kid, all I wanted was to have a perfect little family with my mom and sister. I wanted my mom to understand the fact that we needed her and that she shouldn't impose her choices upon us. I wanted my mom to pay attention to us like any child would and I wanted her to do this because it was the right thing to do and for her to know that it was the right thing to do. I just wanted unconditional love, care, and attention. As a child, was that too much to ask for?Sometimes mothers need to understand that their children are part of them and in this, they must include their children in those decisions that have an impact on the entire family. When mothers and fathers create children, they create a family. This means that they are now totally responsible for this family unit. We call it that because it is the total of all the members in the family functioning as one body; one love.I never understood the sex part; rather, I just knew that he was hurting them. I used to see the other kids crying in pain and anger and I just couldn't stand and watch them so I tried to tell my mom. She went out of her way not to listen to me! She would go into her room and lock the door leaving me standing outside shouting and asking her to please listen to what I wanted to tell her. Meanwhile, my stepdad would come out and yell at me and say, "leave your mother alone!" It just went on and on this way with my mother shutting me out and allowing my stepdad to punish us. I wanted so badly to make this all stop because I didn't want my siblings to get hurt. That day, I realized that I had been through so much in my childhood that I had reached a point at which I had a responsibility to use my life as a beacon for others who were needlessly suffering the same fate. I knew then that I must write this book and it must become available to the world of mothers and fathers, boys and girls everywhere.I know my story will help many people around the world who have continually been victims of those who think what happens behind closed doors is up to them. It is not! People young and old must be dealt with harshly when they violate the God-given rights of those around them; when they turn young girl's lives upside down, many of whom never recover, and when they shatter the emotions of infants who cannot fight back.These silent but cormorant criminals are walking among us as I write these words. We must use the law to show them that their way is wrong and that we as a society, will no longer accept their criminal behavior.I want to reflect on my readers to never give up on their life no matter what comes your way. The most important element you should learn from my experiences is that you must continually make distinctions. You must learn to make distinctions between virtue and vice. Learn to identify the bad people who are intermingled with the good ones. As yet, nobody has been able to change this. There are some very bad people out there so do not let the limits of your perceptions shroud one from the other.You need to teach your children about the good and bad people they will encounter each day. Teach them about the good and bad touch so that they know who is going to hurt them right away before it is too late. One hour of pedophile trauma equates to a life gone wrong, an entire life turned into a useless and wasted life.
