About the Book

Læseren vil blive forbløffet over originaliteten af argumenterne. Fra det lykkelige ægteskab mellem kvantefysikken og Carl Jungs kollektive ubevidste fødes en ny metafysik af universet, og et sted opstår, hvor stof og ånd samarbejder og bliver styret af kosmiske synkroniteter for at lede mennesket mod utrolige evolutionære projekter. Carl Jung og Wolfgang Pauli arbejdede henholdsvis inden for psyken og med materien. Disse to sektorer anses for at være absolut uforenelige med hinanden. Faktisk benægter den videnskabelige materialisme eksistensen af nogen psykisk komponent i det kendte univers.
På trods af den enorme afstand mellem deres discipliner etablerede de to videnskabsmænd et samarbejde, der varede mere end tyve år. I den periode holdt de aldrig op med at lede efter et "forenende element", der på et videnskabeligt plan er i stand til at forene årsagerne til den psykiske dimension med årsagerne til den materielle dimension.
Desværre nåede de ikke dette mål i deres levetid, men de var profeter for en ny videnskabelig fortolkning af universet. Faktisk revurderer udviklingen af viden inden for kvantefysik, og frem for alt de eksperimentelle bekræftelser af fænomener som kvanteforviklinger, deres teorier. I dag dukker ideen om et univers, der ikke er opdelt i "materielle objekter", kraftigt frem. Universet er ikke fraktioneret, men består af en enkelt virkelighed, der består af ånd og stof. Dette er den virkelighed, som Jung og Pauli kaldte "Unus mundus". Stof og psyke har samme værdighed og bidrager sammen til universets eksistens.
Carl Gustav Jung (1865-1961) var en schweizisk psykolog og psykoterapeut, kendt for sine teorier om det kollektive ubevidste og synkronicitet. Wolfgang Pauli (1900-1958) er en af kvantefysikkens fædre. Vi kan sige om Pauli, at han i 1945 modtog Nobelprisen for sine studier i et grundlæggende princip for kvantemekanik, kendt som "Pauli udelukkelsesprincippet".
