Deutschland gehört zu den Nationen in Europa in denen sich das Franchising am Stärksten durchgesetzt hat. Im Jahr 1995 waren 530 Franchisesysteme vorhanden - heute sind es rund 1000. Damit wird Deutschland ein starkes Wachstum im Franchisebereich vorhergesagt. Daraus wird klar, dass ein großer Markt für die systematische Selbstständigkeit vorhanden ist und potentielle Franchisenehmer verfügbar sind. Für Franchisegeber wird es immer relevanter, die passenden Franchisenehmer auf dem Markt herauszufiltern. Es erscheint jedoch so, dass nicht jedes Franchiseunternehmen eine klar strukturierte Vorgehensweise bei der Rekrutierung entwickelt hat. Für die Auswahl und Rekrutierung potentieller Franchisenehmer ist kein standardisiertes Vorgehen vorhanden. Jedes Franchiseunternehmen muss herausstellen, welche Vorgehensweise und Instrumente für ihre Rekrutierung nutzbar sind. Dabei gilt, dass zeitintensive und kostspielige Instrumente nicht anstandslos die geeignetsten Instrumente darstellen. Systeme die langfristig am Markt etabliert sind, haben nicht automatisch einen problemlosen Rekrutierungsprozess. Häufig werden Auswahlinstrumente nicht richtig interpretiert oder genutzt. Diese wissenschaftliche Arbeit stellt keine Vorgehensweise bei der Rekrutierung von Franchisenehmern dar, vielmehr sollen verschiedene Auswahlinstrumente und die damit verbundene Eignung oder nicht Eignung im Rekrutierungsprozess aufgezeigt werden. Ebenfalls wird untersucht, welche Auswahlinstrumente tatsächlich im Rekrutierungsprozess der Franchisesysteme eingesetzt werden. Ergänzend beschäftigt sich diese Abschlussarbeit mit der Bedeutung des Human Resources Management, welches die Grundlage für die Rekrutierung neuer Mitarbeiter darstellt. Begonnen
