Among the small army of men and women sworn to uphold law and order, is a unit dedicated to the solving its most difficult crimes by the use of the most modern techniques known to magic and mysticism. About the Author: Drake Russell has led the typical fictitious life of secret agent, astronaut, and adventurer... is his childhood dreams. He was born in the usual manner, lived as a child in a convalescent home and spent many summer weeks on his grandparent's farm. His class clown attitude helped him endure a few years of enlightening poverty. But, numerous close shaves convinced Drake to see the world in the military. After his military commitment, Drake joined the ranks of the unemployed during the height of the great recession. Undaunted and in love, he married and became the quintessential family man in one of the most economically depressed regions of the country at that time. Drake, always an avid reader and storyteller, decided to try his hand at fantasy writing. After being forced to retire from many, many years of as a factory repair technician, Drake continues to reside with his loving wife of thirty-plus years in their old Appalachian valley homestead. Then as now, he keeps cranking out his Hardway adventures in the wee hours of the morning.
