Sometimes it takes the most unexpected experience to help us see what's been staring at us all along. For Tabitha Y Wandera, this unexpected experience was a literal visit from Jesus.
Growing up in Kenya, Tabitha spent many hours in Sunday school, but the lessons taught never struck home. She struggled with feeling worthy, feeling loved, and feeling important. She had questions that were never answered, and discouragement set in.
Then, in the midst of her confusion, Jesus came to her. He spoke with her, He comforted her, and He gave her a sign of His all-encompassing love and grace. From that day forward, Tabitha was a changed woman. She began to thirst for God's word, to feel wrapped in His arms, and to need to share His life-changing love with the world.
But God didn't just give her this need and leave her to it-He planted the seed of desire to write, encouraged her along the path, and gently prodded her to completion.

About the Author: Originally from Kenya, Tabitha Y Wandera now lives in Texas with her husband, Peter. They have two children.
Wandera has spent decades in the ministry of serving the Lord's people. She received her diploma in Christian ministries from Daystar University in Nairobi, Kenya, before serving in various leadership roles both locally and abroad.
After relocating to Texas, Wandera attended Texas Women's University and graduated with a master of business administration. She currently serves with the Women Houses of Zion Ministry at the Glory of Zion International Ministries in Corinth, Texas.
In addition, She recently became the founder and president of the Kingdom Force Ministries in Texas, a nonprofit organization devoted to prayer and empowering people with God's promises.
