About the Book

There have been those like, The Most Honorable Marcus Garvey, Paul Robeson, The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Malcolm X, Ella Baker, and even Nipsey Hussel, who woke up, and woke others up also. Black folks who were moved to African identity and revolutionary consciousness. Revolutionary in the sense that they started movements and became change agents in the Black world community. Most of whom were martyred in the war for African liberation. This book is a way to give a "shout out" to those unsung Black African revolutionaries, who sacrificed their lives for all of us. We will explore the "our-story" of movers and movements that have pushed for Black liberation, and Black community self-actualization. Black success leaves blueprints and footprints. Our aim is to be guided by their footprints, and follow their blueprints, for African liberation and mental emancipation. This book curates for future generations, the stories and legacies, of these great Black revolutionaries. We must highlight and continue the work of these great Black liberationist, and wake up this present generation, and those to come after. Thank you for your service and sacrifice Ancestors! This book will explore the process of transformation, and those African change agents, who woke us up to our true African identity and nature. From dogs to Gods, and from niggers to Neters. From being a caterpillar in the cocoon of false white supremacy, to metamorphose and self-actualize into the truth of being beautiful Black butterflies. From being ground bound, to being flight bound. From all about me, to all about we. From killers, to healers. From gang banging, to Gods building. From being negro and ashamed, to being Black and proud. "Say it loud, I 'm Black and I 'm proud! Say it again! "Say it loud, I 'm Black and I 'm proud! A'se!
