About the Book

This is an experimental Fiction where the spirits of a number of true stories have been incorporated in one. Thus the mental pictures of men drawn here in are true, and not fictitious. This has been done intentionally, knowing fully well that it curtails the liberty of an author to make 'beautiful', enjoyable and sensational book. The three countries involved here are East Pakistan of Pakistan, Bangladesh and India. (From the story) MILON SEN IN DHAKA, EAST PAKISTAN: Milon Sen, a brilliant student of Dhaka university of East Pakistan was thrown in the waste bin by his class mate. And this class mate was a beautiful young Muslim lady from West Pakistan. The young man had to take the shelter of 'Socialist politics' during following four years and had to live as 'Milon Hossain' in a remote village in Bhola. MILON HOSSAIN IN MANASPUR: In Manaspur village Milon had to many things including the teaching nine out of thirteen children of a local physician. During this time he gained hitherto unimaginable experiences. He came to know the knottiest mind of a father, who loved to conduct extremely hazardous experiments with his children. Milon, got the responsibility of teaching someone, who unexpectedly got a position in the national level. Before he could digest the sweetest fruit of his success, he came to know that the previous night the boy was kicked out from the family. Milon came to that the knotty-minded father declared that he did not have the money for his higher studies. The blow was too much for Milon to bear, and he instantly left the place for uncertainty. MILON SEN IN RAMGONJ: After a few days Milon discovered himself as Milon Sen, and a teacher of a school in Ramgonj. In this school a Muslim lady fell in love. Milon disagreed to change religion. The lady changed hers, because she disclosed that she hated talaq, the three-word 'divorce-verdict' of her religion. Milon and his wife Farida, later changed to Arupa became convinced that East Pakistan, at that time transformed to Bangladesh was not a country for the Hindus. They sent their only son to a Western Country and took shelter in an Indian village named Rudrapur in India. This was the place where Milon's younger brother lived. MILON SEN IN RUDRAPUR: Milon's brother took him to a physician titled 'Sarma'. Milon remembered, this one was the title of the physician, whose kids he used to teach in Manaspur village. The man had as many as thirteen children, where the two senior sons left the family. The man was the lone earning member. In Manaspur one of his rival physician told Milon, "I tell you, after this man expires, you would see his widow and children to beg on the street". Two years after Milon left Manaspur he came to know that the physician expired. Milon and his brother came to see the 'Sarma' doctor and met his mother. After introduction both the lady and Milon came to realize, they really met in Manaspur. The lady talked a lot about the present state of her family. Milon became astonished to learn that all her children were educated. Six of them were doctors, one passed chartered accountancy, one was doctorate and others, Masters. But what happened to his beloved student? No one mentioned anything. He was not seen in the family album, which, Milon hopefully expected, this might have caused due to 'joint-pages'. While returning home, Milon walked through fog and could not see things clearly. He thought, he saw his student in that fog. At this juncture, wind came to smash the veil of fog. Milon earnestly wished it to be frozen, such that he could live in peace with the unknown mystery.
