About the Book

Full-Length Musical "Bliss and a half-tremendous fun!" -The New York Times Gary Goldfarb is a big kid with even bigger dreams. He'll stop at nothing to win the heart of the hottest girl in town, Cheryl Samatasinghar-Stein. Gary's big chance to impress comes at the high school talent show where he will attempt Houdini's most dangerous feat, the Chinese Water Torture Cell Illusion. Can Gary's classmate Penelope talk some sense into him before it's too late? With a catchy pop-jazz musical theatre score, Gary Goldfarb conjures up the magic, foolishness, and hilarity of high school romance. A big hit at the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF); Winner of the 2013 NYMF Award for Excellence in Writing; Winner of the first annual Stage Rights/NYMF Publishing Award. (Cast: 3F, 3M)
