About the Book

STEAM-PUNK TRILOGY: Three Tales of Science, Spirit & Steam
The Gear-Smiths Trilogy
...In an alternative Victorian era where etheric science and steam-powered marvels shape society, the brilliant but eccentric Professor Erasmus Finch and his unlikely allies find themselves at the heart of a conflict that will determine the future of technology and spirituality alike.

THE BANISHMENT OF THE GEARSMITHS
...When Professor Finch's groundbreaking experiments with etheric energy draw unwanted attention from the mysterious Coterie of the Cog, he is forced to flee London with his street-smart assistant Ada Lovelace and the charming diplomat Tristan Byrne. Together, they become known as the Gearsmiths, pioneers in the revolutionary field of etheric science. But their innovations have made them targets of those who would use such power for nefarious purposes.

THE GHOSTS OF THE FRENCH QUARTER
...Seeking refuge in New Orleans, the Gearsmiths discover a city where science and spirituality dance a delicate waltz. Their etheric technology takes on new dimensions as they encounter voodoo practitioners who have been working with similar forces - which they know as Sophagial frequencies - for generations. When their experiments accidentally unleash supernatural havoc upon the Big Easy, they must forge alliances with local mystics to prevent an interdimensional catastrophe. The line between science and spirit grows ever thinner as they race to save the city from both ghostly threats and their pursuers from London.

CHICAGO WORLD'S FAIR 1893
...The story culminates at the World's Columbian Exposition, where the Gearsmiths plan to unveil their innovations to the world. But Lord Bellingham and his Coterie have laid a trap, planning to use the fair's centerpiece - the magnificent Ferris Wheel - as a device to seize control of all etheric technology. With allies including Buffalo Bill Cody, Wyatt Earp, Susan B. Anthony, and Mark Twain, the Gearsmiths must prevent Bellingham from turning the "White City" into ground zero for a technological apocalypse.

...As they face their greatest challenge, the Gearsmiths discover that the Sophagial frequencies they've been studying are more than just a scientific curiosity - they're the fundamental forces that keep the barriers between worlds stable. Their final confrontation atop the Ferris Wheel will determine not just their own fate, but the future of both science and spirit.

...In this thrilling saga, Erasmus's boundless enthusiasm for discovery, Ada's street-smart practicality, and Tristan's diplomatic finesse combine to create a formidable team. Their adventures blend Victorian innovation with supernatural mystery, exploring themes of progress versus tradition, the balance between science and spirit, and the responsibility that comes with great knowledge.

...From the fog-shrouded streets of London to the mystical byways of New Orleans, and finally to the grand spectacle of the Chicago World's Fair, the Steam-Punk Trilogy weaves a tale of friendship, courage, and the eternal tension between innovation and wisdom. It's a story where mechanical marvels meet mystical forces, where the impossible becomes possible, and where the greatest discoveries often lie in understanding the delicate balance between progress and preservation.

...Join the Gearsmiths as they navigate a world where steam power meets supernatural power, where etheric science opens doors to both wonder and peril, and where the greatest adventures await those brave enough to challenge the boundaries of both science and spirit.

...The game is afoot, and the future of two worlds hangs in the balance.
