Im dritten Kapitel erfolgt eine detaillierte Analyse über die DB mittels der Frameworks SWOT Analyse und Business Model Canvas (BMC). Diese Methoden sind das Bindeglied zwischen der theoretischen Analyse und der im Kapitel 4 folgenden Weiterentwicklung des Geschäftsmodells. Im fünften Kapitel werden die wichtigsten Erkenntnisse nochmals zusammengetragen. Abschließend erfolgt ein Ausblick mit einer Empfehlung für die nächsten strategischen Schritte der DB. Als Basis für die Geschäftsmodellanalyse wird der Geschäftsbericht der DB untersucht. Für ein objektives Ergebnis wurden die Berichte der DB um externe Quellen ergänzt. Die Literatur wurde anhand einer pragmatischer Literaturrecherche vollzogen. Die Analyse von Geschäftsmodellen und Schaffung eines Werts für Kunden ist spätestens seitdem Aufkommen von E-Commerce in aller Munde. Diese Seminararbeit beschäftigt sich mit einem Unternehmen, welches sich die letzten Jahre stark mit sich selbst befasst hat. Die Deutsche Bank (DB) ist Deutschlands größte Bank und hat im internationalen Vergleich dennoch starkes Aufholpotenzial. Die vorliegende Seminararbeit analysiert schwerpunktmäßig die Sparte Privatkundenbank. Das Privatkundengeschäft der Banken oder auch Retailgeschäft unterliegt einer starken Transformation.
