Inhaltsangabe: Zusammenfassung: Die vorliegende Arbeit versteht sich als methodologische: Ihr Anliegen ist es auf der Basis einer Zusammenschau methodologischer und gegenstandstheoretischer Ansätze, der Frage nachzugehen, wie Soziologie 'sinnvoll' betrieben werden kann. Ausgehend von einem sehr allgemeinen Verständnis von Soziologie als einer Wissenschaft, „welche soziales Handeln deutend verstehen und dadurch in seinem Ablauf und seinen Wirkungen ursächlich erklären will" (Weber 1980 [1921], S. 1), einem Verständnis also, dass den soziologischen Gegenstandsbereich als prinzipiell Sinnstrukturierten begreift, soll in der vorliegenden Arbeit für eine Methodologie plädiert werden, die diesem Umstand in all seinen Implikationen Rechnung trägt. Die Erörterung der Frage nach einer dem soziologischen Gegenstand angemessen Methodik erfolgt nun nicht auf rein theoretisch - methodologischer Ebene, sondern wird darüber hinaus versucht sein, ein an Grundprinzipien qualitativer Sozialforschung entwickeltes Analyseinstrumentarium vorzustellen und dessen Verwendungsweise an empirischem Material zu exemplifizieren. Im Vordergrund steht somit weniger eine empirisch - gegenstandsbezogene als vielmehr eine methodologische Fragestellung, welche jedoch grundsätzlich rückverwiesen bleibt auf empirisch - konkrete Erkenntnisse hinsichtlich der Konstitution des infragestehenden Gegenstandes. Ein solch reflexives Verständnis von Methode und Gegenstand zwingt dazu, in einem zirkulären Prozess gegenstandstheoretische Erkenntnisse method(olog)isch fruchtbar zu machen. Die vorliegende Arbeit versucht diesem Umstand in zweierlei Hinsicht gerecht zu werden: Im ersten Hauptteil (I. 'theoretisch - methodologische Verortung) soll dafür argumentiert werden, dass der soziologische Gegenstandsbereich aufgrund seiner spezifischen Konstitution (Abschnitt 2: Gegenstandskonzeptionen eines interpretativen Paradigmas) einer interpretativ - qualitativ verfahrenden Forschung (Abschnitt 1: 'Qualitativ versus q
