GG-B 007: Sterbende Welt W. A. Travers und Alfred Wallon: "Alles erscheint verloren - doch sie haben noch eine winzige Chance!" 21. März 2453 = Durch einen Terroranschlag verschwinden 7 Menschen mittels eines GG (= GAARSON-GATE, eine besondere Art von Materietransporter) - und geraten in ein fremdes GG-Netz, das schon lange existiert. 22. März 2453 = Den Verschollenen gelingt es, kurzzeitig PSI-Kontakt mit Clarks-Planet aufzunehmen und mitzuteilen, daß sie sich möglicherweise Tausende von Lichtjahre vom irdischen Machtbereich entfernt aufhalten, auf einer Dschungelwelt namens Vetusta. Die Verbindung reißt jedoch ab, denn sie werden überwältigt und gefangengenommen vom Stationscomputer auf Vetusta. Dieser schickt 3 von ihnen in das GG-Netz des sogenannten Prupper-Imperiums, um herauszufinden, was in den letzten Jahrhunderten seit einem interstellaren Krieg geschah. Denn er wurde in jenem Krieg stark beschädigt, verlor dabei den größten Teil seiner Erinnerungsspeicher und hat keinerlei Kontakt mehr mit dem Imperium. Die drei Verbannten sind: John Millory, Petro Galinksi und Cora Stajnfeld! Sie stellen fest, daß die Prupper haargenauso aussehen und auch so leben wie Menschen auf der Erde. Das einzige, was sie von Menschen unterscheidet, ist ihre Sprache. Aber auch die Namen wirken großenteils wie dem Englischen entliehen: Ein besonderes Mysterium, das sich die drei nicht erklären können. Dabei wirken die drei auf einer der Welten wie Katalysatoren in einer Situation, die aufgrund genetischer Superexperimente total eskaliert.
