About the Book

Does your child experience frustration when when they give up too much of their own free time to do things for others? Are they magnetic, action packed, and full of energy? Are they masters of physical activity with a strong sense of direction? You might have a little Generator!

Generators are one of the five energetic types in Human Design. They are the vitalizers, expanders, lumineers, meant to master what feels exciting, and designed to show us the importance of doing what you love.

Generators experience the least amount of resistance in their life and relationships when given time to work with their passions, the freedom to say no, and the chance to use their energy in a fun and aligned way, because saying yes to others can sometimes mean saying no to themselves, which then leads to frustration.

Generators have the energy to keep the rest of us going, but can easily become overworked. In order to bridge this issue and limit resistance, Generators can be taught to respond honestly, by saying yes to what they want to do, rather than what they think they have to do.

Instead of shame for being "selfish," Generators need encouragement to set boundaries around their time, applauded for their honesty, and loved and accepted for being themselves. This is how you can help your Generator reach their highest potential and find satisfaction in the process.

Children don't have to TRY to be their design; they already are their design. They just need the tools and information to learn how to honor their intuition and interact with others in the most supportive way. The process to prevent conditioning, limit resistance, and create energetic balance all starts with self-awareness and self-love.

I've created a Human Design inspired picture book series with characters that children can relate to on a soul level, so they know they're not alone in their way of feeling, behaving, or being because their differences are their superpowers.

Within this series, you'll find lessons about communication, boundaries, self-confidence, patience, capability, and inclusion. I hope to inspire children to follow their intuition and find their own path.

The second of the series, Gibbon the Generator, serves as validation for young helpers that, by following their strategy of waiting to respond honestly, they have the power to reach their goals with ease and experience satisfaction in the process.
