About the Book

This book is intended to tell it to you straight. To give you everything in a nutshell, to help you start changing your life and making it better. This book was written by experience. It can be read in an hour, but took nearly a lifetime of getting it wrong to get it right. Not only should we learn from our mistakes, but also from others. It is quite a gift. I wish the best for all, and especially all who I know. If you found out something and all of a sudden life became better than it ever was, would you not wish to share it? That's all this is. From seeing self caused pain in me, and also in so many others, it all came down to quite the logical, and quite profound, simple secret of asking. In thought, in speech, and in action. Our life's problems and achievements seem to all be a matter of choice in how we ask. That is all this book explains. Making life work, being genuinely happy and staying young and fit with pure enthusiasm is the basic message within this compact book.
About the Author: David has had an incredible journey to get to where he is. He was born and raised in London. After leaving school at 17, he lived many lives in between many jobs and traveling the world. He found acting at the ripe old age of 28, and threw himself into improvisation classes. After a few years of successfully working on British TV, he decided to head to Los Angeles. Within a few years, his talent landed him a role in the movie National Treasure. This parlayed into guest appearances on "24" and a regular guest starring role on NCIS. He has had the pleasure of working with such industry elite as Nick Cage, John Voight, Kiefer Sutherland, Mark Harmon and Noah Wylie to name a few. Not only does he act, but he has now written this wonderful book, The Gift. His writing abilities also include two screen plays, two children's books and numerous poems, all of which he will one day publish. He lives by the rule that anything can be achieved. After finding what he thought equated to "success", and living a life most would dream of, he was still in an unsettled place emotionally, mentally and spiritually. His never-ending evolutional journey to peace and happiness led him to write this book. Through this book, he hopes to share what he has learned with others.
