Rhinos are being slaughtered for their horns, elephants for their tusks, diamonds are being stolen, a women is raped and kidnapped and a man killed. Who is responsible for this violence? A family from Zimbabwe start a deep-sea game fishing business in Mozambique and get caught up in poaching and 'dirty diamond' dealing and smuggling operations run by a ruthless individual with friends in high places who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. A series of dangerous and exciting adventures take place during their pursuit of this dangerous poacher as they try to bring him to justice. Experience 'feel' of Africa, the thrill of deep-sea game fishing, the horror of big animal poaching, the excitement of the chase and the fear of being hunted by a nasty villain with no scruples. The story is based on fact, and leads the reader through a number of hostile situations as the poacher is pursued across the Sub-Continent of Africa.
About the Author: Born in South Africa of English Settler stock, the author grew up in Swaziland where he learned to speak and understand the Swazi culture. After leaving school he was employed on a cattle ranch as a hunter to control wild animal attacks on the cattle. He moved to Rhodesia where he joined the police force before taking up a career in commercial farming. During the Rhodesian struggle for Independence he served in the Police Anti Terrorist Unit for 12 years. At the end of the war Ken moved to Swaziland on contract to a sugar estate. On completion of his contract he started a successful cleaning and tree felling business in Durban before buying a farm in Kwa Zulu Natal where he bred crocodiles and grew bananas. Because of his love of Zimbabwe he sold his farm in South Africa and returned to Zimbabwe to farm. In 2003 he and his wife were forced, under threat of death by war veterans sponsored by Mugabe, to abandon their farm. They left with nothing and settled in the UK. Ken and his wife Collette have six children and eleven grandchildren. Their family are scattered all over the world. Ken now uses his wide experiences in Africa to write books set in the country he loves.

A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
