About the Book

Life is a journey. So is your career. Sometimes sorting through the fluff and determining what REALLY motivates you can be frustrating. This guide eliminates ALL the frustration. Why? This is a PRACTICAL guide. After completing some self-evaluations and becoming more self-aware regarding your career aptitudes you will have a prioritized action plan for success. Careers are not about asking "Can you have it all" but about determining "What ALL you can have."
About the Author: Stacey is a career specialist, focused on helping others achieve career happiness. She believes life is a journey - so is your career. Before launching her own firm several years ago, Stacey spent 14 years advising Fortune 500 companies in the areas of executive and Board of Director compensation and talent management for the largest, premier global HR consulting firm. She managed global projects with revenues exceeding $1 Million and project teams of up to 20 people. Additionally, Stacey directly managed five people, including providing performance reviews and compensation packages. She reviewed hundreds of resumes and job descriptions annually and contributed to the development of her offices hiring program and interview guide that was later accepted as a company best practice. She conducted in-house training programs for new hires each year and was a recognized speaker at association conferences. Stacey partners the career offices at local universities and colleges to review resumes and help students prepare for interviews. She launched her own career counseling firm in 2011 to focus on the aspects of HR consulting she enjoyed - helping others achieve their potential. Stacey is an active member of the Cornell Alumni Ambassadors Network, including being Chair of the Committee while living in Colorado and chairing a committee in Illinois. She oversaw approximately 100 alumni to interview prospective students each admissions season. Stacey graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations and received her MBA from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. She currently resides in Illinois with her husband of 13 years and three children.
