Un relato a modo de cuento sobre la vida de una niña apodada Grecas y su familia. A veces se lo dice todo ella misma, en otras, los diablillos de sus animalitos o bien sus padres y allegados, que se vuelven casualidad y ardoroso entusiasmo, intentando mediar con sus limitaciones. Que las tiene, y son muchas. Pero como Pinocho, cada vez que puede esa niña se pone ciega en su alfombra, dotada de un prodigioso oído y mando como para hacer hablar a unos entrañables compañeros de juegos. Vista la realidad, ellos se dejan manejar, otros no tanto. Grecas., es en apariencia, una niña que todo cuanto toca lo congela. Por eso debe llevar guantes. Sí, la justicia no cabida en esos sistemas de la niñez. Pero mira al infinito junto a sus amigos y compañeros de juegos. Finnegan, la tortuga; Guerneville, el gato; y los tres jilgueros llamados Gianluca, Giambattista y Gianfrancesco. Todos ellos sí que se manchan las manos, dado que su justicia es muy distinta, al entender de otros gestos reflexivos. Condición, que comparten con la hermana de lo trágico y absurdo, Lunares. Otra peque de ojos cansados, blanco de batalla de algunos familiares, como la tía Isabella, que tiene su secreto.Además, están los padres: Idara y Gennaro. Una abogada italocubana y un prestigioso inventor. Todos ellos viviendo en Rímini. Por supuesto que hay vecinas, como Lisis; que se fue. Debió hacerlo, le era imposible seguir así, en la pobreza de tener dos trabajos y nunca poder jubilarse.Las niñas, con sus pecados candorosos no se quedan a mitad de camino, osan. Otra/otros, volubles y arbitrarios, completan ese periplo vital. Con o sin una imagen falsamente favorable. La lógica de los niños no es honesta, imparcial ni respetuosa. Es un contrapunto a los familiares y testigos, sucede simplemente. Protagonizan, y pudiera haber consecuencias mediocres o dramáticas. Es algo común a todas las lenguas/culturas. Se pretendía enfrentar las carreras laborales de unos padres con la educación, el orden y el concierto de unas niñas difíciles, primeramente, vinculándolas a ser proactivas dentro de sus limitaciones, como estar repleta de lunares de los más horrendos o no poder tocar nada de nada salvo para hacer daño al dejarlo helado. Luego estaban las bitácoras de cada cual, como convertir a los animalitos como elementos cohesionadores de la trama, para todos: adultos y niños. Y ese abogar por una visión de necesidad, autenticidad y pasión de las mujeres de la familia, invocando sus pasados. Hermandades y comunicaciones que dividen, acaecidas en un hipotético pueblo, muy real.
