Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Sonstiges, Note: 1,7, Universität Augsburg, Veranstaltung: Gruppenleitung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Eine sehr häufig vorkommende Debatte bezüglich des inhaltsorientierten Arbeitens ist die Frage welche Methode sich am besten eignet um die Lerninhalte im Gedächtnis der Lernenden möglichst effektiv und für lange Zeit oder besser für immer zu verankern. Dabei werden zwei didaktische Methoden besonders häufig genannt: der frontale Lehrvortrag und die Gruppenarbeit. Im deutschen Schulunterricht ist der Frontalunterricht die am häufigsten genutzte Unterrichtsform und wird zu 77% von den Lehrern verwendet (vgl. Gudjons 2007, S. 39). Lehrer und Schüler wünschen sich laut Umfragen aber mehr Gruppenarbeit (vgl. ebd. S. 42). In meiner Arbeit möchte ich erörtern wieso der Frontalunterricht immer noch so weit verbreitet ist und was die Vor- und Nachteile von Frontalunterricht bzw. Gruppenarbeit sind. Dabei gehe ich zunächst auf den Gruppenunterricht ein. Nach einer kurzen Erläuterung der Bedeutung, welche die Gruppe für den Menschen hat, werde ich die Vor- und Nachteile der Gruppenarbeit beschreiben. Ich beziehe mich hier mehr auf den Schulunterricht, allerdings soll die Abwägung der Vor- und Nachteile für alle Formen der Inhaltsvermittlung gelten, nicht nur für die Schule, sondern auch für Seminare, Kurse und andere inhaltsvermittelnde Veranstaltungen. Dies gilt auch für die Anforderungen an den Gruppenleiter, welche ich als nächstes nennen werde. Danach behandle ich den Frontalunterricht, bzw. den Frontalvortrag. Auch hier gehe ich auf die Vor- und Nachteile, sowie auf die Anforderungen an den Gruppenleiter ein, nachdem ich kurz erläutere wieso der Frontalunterricht immer noch gern genutzt wird. Zum Schluss werden im Fazit noch einmal die jeweiligen Vor- und Nachteile der beiden Unterrichtsformen gegeneinander abwägen.
