About the Book

El folclórico entorno de un pueblo rodeado de robustos cerros verdes y abundantes arroyos, situado hacia el Oeste de la ciudad de Tepic Mexico, fue el lugar que lo vio nacer en el año 1963. Corría el año 1969 cuando Arturo y toda su familia es conducida a la ciudad de Guadalajara sin previo aviso ni idea de lo que vendría después. En el despertar de sus sentidos se enfrenta a una inesperada y cruda realidad; sus padres viajan al extranjero en busca de un mejor mañana y pasa un tiempo vacío en medio de la selva de pavimento. Cuando sus padres regresan al único que ve con vida es a su padre, a su madre, se la presentan en un ataúd. A partir de allí ocurren una serie de eventos que van desde lo trivial a lo extraordinario. Un padre afligido con siete hijos se enfrenta al destino incierto sin la compañera que antes de partir le diera el último fruto de su amor. En medio de aquella confusión en la ciudad desconocida, lucha por sobreponerse ante lo adverso y un ángel aparece en el camino para formar de nuevo un digno hogar. No obstante la vida es difícil y dadas las raíces culturales y el bajo nivel de educación, padre e hijos se ven en la necesidad de salir a las calles en busca de traer soporte económico. A través del laberinto de la vida, Arturo recae en una insatisfacción de ser y hacer lo que hace y se fuga de casa a muy temprana edad. Las aventuras continúan y en Guadalajara El Ayer Que nunca Olvidare se reflejan pasajes reales de la vida que afrontan algunos niños de la calle cuando son enviados a la calle desestimando los riesgos. A través de sus páginas, Arturo comparte sus experiencias y sus sentimientos, sus fracasos, sus logros y ese enfoque propio de ilustrar el ambiente folklórico de su barrio donde se entrelazan amistades que pactan para siempre. En Guadalajara El Ayer Que Nunca Olvidare, se desenvuelve a través de muchos anos entre barrios y costumbres mientras que un hombre enfocado escala la cumbre de su carrera. Con todo cariño y orgullo menciono a mi padre que fue un gran ejemplo de superación y mi segunda Madre la Reina del hoga.
