About the Book

The Guardian is the final chapter of Lance Livingston and his now growing family. Lance's powers have grown rapidly with the increase in the size of his family. Just being close to a person allows Lance to feel if they are good or evil and what their intentions are toward the family. Lance has the ability to see into a person's past and present. THE FAMILY Lance's spouse Kim and daughter Celeste, Celeste has power of being able to get glimpses of a person past, present and future. She has a special connection with her sister Mona. What one thinks the other hears it when they are in close contact with each other. Stephen's spouse Janice and son SJ who has the powers of touch like Lance. SJ will become the new leader of the family. Donnie's spouse Gayle and daughter Tracy the family rescued Tracy from a group of child molesters. Donnie and Gayle adopted Tracy after the rescue when she was 13 years old at the time. Zo's spouse Brenda and son Clay who also rescued by the family from the group of child molesters. Zo and Brenda adopted Clay after the rescue he was 13 years of age at the time. Tucker's spouse Cassie. Tucker has gift of touch plus being able to see a person's past, present and future. He handled all adoption paper work for the brothers and their children. Darryl spouse Christine and Darryl's nephew Lonnie who now lives with Darryl and Christine. Lonnie has same gift as Tucker but not as powerful yet. He is going thru training with Tucker to fine tune his gift. Lonnie and Mona are boyfriend and girlfriend. Tony spouse Lydia daughter Mona also has the power of being able to get glimpses of a person past, present and future. She has a special connection with her sister Celeste. They can communicate without speaking to each other. Cortez spouse Gladys daughter Alia also rescued by the family from the group of child molesters. Cortez and Gladys adopted Alia after the rescue she was also 13 years of age. Cortez has the gift of touch like Lance. However, it is not as strong and he is being trained by Lance. Jamal is the fiancé of Celeste who meet in college while attending UCLA. He enjoys killing his enemies up close and personal like Stephen but due to his martial arts training, he is more tempered like Donnie. Jamal is a stonehearted killer nice person just do not make made or attempt to harm the family. Jamal does not have any powers except for his own need to hurt people that try to hurt Celeste and the family. He and Lonnie are best friends they will be SJ's bodyguards until SJ is ready to assume leadership.
About the Author: Gerald Middlebrooks first started writing books after 20 plus years in the financial field. His major was journalism in college. His first book Strategy of Debt Relief was written to help all consumers with the understand of debt and to relief their debt burden. His next two books were children books titled Fargo and Friends then followed up by Fargo Returns home. He then started to write his first horror book saga about Lance Livingston titled Monster Mind. Followed by Monster Brothers. Followed those two up with Lance. The Guardian is the end of saga about Lance Livingston. He is now writing a book of poems and views of life from 60 years of life. His next project will be another children book.
