Die Zahl der Arbeiten, die sich mit einer derartigen ProblemstelllU1g al5einander- setzen, ist selbst bei EinbeziehlU1g der internationalen Literatur als äußerst gering zu bezeichnen. Umso größer ist das Verdienst des Verfassers, diese Probleme umfassend lU1d detailliert, originell lU1d methodisch einwandfrei bearbeitet zu haben. Im zentralen Kap i tel 5 der Arbeit wird eine "IlandeI treibende Welt", bestehend aus einem rohstoffarmen Industrie- lU1d einem rohstoffreichen EntlvickllU1gs1and, betrachtet. Die AufteillU1g der in dieser Welt entstehenden Handelsgewinne wird spieltheoretisch analysiert. In diesem Kontext wird das Problem der gegenseitigen AusbeutlU1g beider Länder lU1tersucht. Hier zeigt der Verfasser eilldringlich, daß das Problem der Ausbeu- tlU1g nicht nur darin besteht, daß eill Land echte Nachteile vom Handel hat (dagegen könnte es sich leicht durch Übergang in Autarkie schützen), sondern daß auch eine extreme UngleichverteillU1g der Handelsgewirule als AusbeutlU1g (im weiteren Sinne) auf- zufassen ist. Wie der Verfasser zeigt, ist es durchaus möglich, daß hinsichtlich der "Ausbeutbarkeit" von Rohstoff- lU1d Industrieland asymmetrische Verhältnisse auftreten können.
