Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Deutsch - Pädagogik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 2,0, Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel (Philosophische Fakultät), Veranstaltung: 'Grenzüberschreitung' - Produktiver Umgang mit Literatur der Jahrhundertwende, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Aufgabe der Schule ist es, den Schülerinnen und Schülern1 Kompetenzen zu vermitteln, mit Hilfe derer sie am gesellschaftlichen Leben teilnehmen können und die ihnen ein lebenslanges Lernen ermöglichen. Dazu gehören neben den Fachkompetenzen auch Sachverständigkeiten wie beispielsweise Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Lern- und Leistungsbereitschaft, Teamfähigkeit, Problemlösungsfertigkeiten sowie Kommunikationsgeschick. Vielen Schülern mangelt es jedoch an diesen Schlüsselqualifikationen, so dass in den letzten Jahren immer häufiger Kritik am lehrerzentrierten Unterricht geäußert wurde. Mehrheitlich wird argumentiert, dass durch die Fremdsteuerung des Lernens, die Schüler ohne weitere äußere Einflüsse meist wenig Interesse am Lernprozess zeigen. Die eigene Beteiligung und Mitgestaltung der schulischen Abläufe erscheint ihnen anstrengend und beschwerlich, sodass der lehrerzentrierte Unterricht sie immer stärker zum Passivum des Unterrichtsgeschehens erzieht. Des Weiteren mangelt es den Lernenden durch den zahlreichen Einsatz des Frontalunterrichtes an methodischen Kompetenzen, die ein eigenständiges Lernen ermöglichen. Als Lösungsmöglichkeit wird vielfach der handlungs- und produktionsorientierte Unterricht2 genannt, der die Selbstständigkeit, die intrinsische Motivation und die methodischen Kompetenzen der Schüler fördert und damit die angesprochenen Defizite ausgleicht. Im weiteren Verlauf dieser Seminararbeit wird zunächst näher auf die Geschichte des handlungs- und produktionsorientierten Unterrichts eingegangen, um im Anschluss daran Definitionen und Grundlagen zu nennen. Dabei werden diese zunächst allgemein behandelt, um im Weiteren speziell auf die Anwendung im Literat
