After her adoptive parents die in a car accident, Sara is left with no family and only a single good friend, Brenda. Devoted to work, Sara's life may be a little lonely, but it's largely secure and uneventful.
That is until she begins to wake from the same unsettling nightmare almost every night. Unable to recall any specific details beyond hearing a woman calling out to her, Sara becomes troubled and uneasy.
Then she receives a letter from an attorney in Georgia, asking her to visit his office at her earliest convenience. Once there, she learns she had a biological grandmother who always kept track of her, but with the strict rules placed by her parents, was never allowed to contact her. She's passed away and left Sara two things: a house in Alabama called Rose Creek Manor and over a million dollars.
Determined to find out more about her past, Sara immediately sets out, driving through a terrifying storm to reach her new home. She's shocked to discover it's not just a house-it's a mansion. However, her excitement turns to alarm when she learns the building is supposedly cursed, haunted by the ghost of a beautiful woman. Is it the woman from her dreams? And if so, why is she calling and what does she want?
