One day. That's all it took for Georgette G. Lee's dream life to turn into a nightmare. In that one day, both her husband and only child were lost to a tragic accident, and part of Georgette seemed to die with them. Over the next decade, she floated through life ungrounded, unstable, and unable to cope with widowhood or move beyond her single status.
But, through the darkness, despair, and desperation, Georgette's faith in God remained constant. She believed that, no matter what, he would hear her cries, even though sometimes silent, and enable her to find the hope, happiness, and healing to which she was entitled.
A must-read for anyone who has ever lost a spouse, whether to death, divorce, or separation, Hear My Cry O Lord shows how Georgette was able to transcend her suffering and rediscover her confidence, individuality, and ability to truly love. Interspersed with powerful poetry and careful, considerate reminders of God's graces, it uniquely addresses the topic of singleness from an empowering, enlightening angle that's sure to motivate your own personal growth and progress and inspire you to confront the obstacles in your life that are preventing you from moving forward.
