About the Author: Attorney Kanisha L. Adkins has spent more than twenty-five years working for the Commonwealth of Virginia in the areas of conflict management and resolution. She is particularly adept and skilled at addressing and resolving conflict in workplace relationships.
Adkins is also an ordained Baptist minister. She received her master of divinity degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. She serves her church as a preacher, teacher, counselor, and administrator.
Adkins also received a master's degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her many different areas of expertise create what she calls a "professional hybrid."
Adkins lives in Glen Allen, Virginia. She enjoys music and sings in her spare time.
