About the Book
In the style of contemplative poetry, aphorism and poetic essay, this is a book for the seekers of life who are on the path of self discovery and spiritual enfoldment, and it is to these individuals that this book will prove to be a rewarding reading experience. Just as the great Rilke said, in life we are all "looking for the truth to live by." The powerful and transformative words in this poetry collection speak not only to the human condition, the many dilemmas and paradoxes that are surrounding us, but also reveal many insights that may shed light on a seeker's path. One will be soothed, comforted, empowered and stimulated by the content of this book.************************************************************************************************************************************
All of a sudden, it was childhood again,
eyes peering through the window,
the world and its glorious shadows.
If all is called, all is lost.
The soul is without a country.
The heart yearns for the forbidden.
The mind seeks its own enlightenment.
Nevertheless, the night is secretly beautiful
and the eyes are lit by the crescent moon.
You know what you are, a lost child
walking amongst the stars. Alongside
the roads more or less trodden,
half vague half pleasant,
all repeats by itself,
as dignified as it is preordained,
night after night, day after day,
disappearing into the distance.
The night is secretly beautiful
and the ocean is secretly infinite,
to the eyes peering through the heart,
to the heart that is drunk on delirium,
all of the world is its wine, vineyard
and Sun, leaving nothing to the imagination.
It is free to roam for another
thousand years and more,
for the heart yearns for the forbidden,
the soul is without a country,
the mind is seeking its own enlightenment.
