About the Book

Jack is a lone traveler. He comes and goes as he wishes, and the world is his playground. Along the road, he meets Amy, a beautiful girl who matches him in wit and charm. And he meets Farron, an alcoholic who has lost his family and destroyed his own life in the process. Amy and Farron affect Jack profoundly when they meet, and even more so, as he watches them leave. Plagued by a darker side of himself, Jack encounters the Shadow that will not let him rest. During this astonishing supernatural adventure, Jack struggles to break free, as his teacher and friends battle the forces of love and fear, good and evil; desperately in search of a way to rescue Jack from the terror that stalks him. Set in the Ozark Forests and River ways, Hero takes you through the land and drops you directly in the middle of the woods, as a community of souls gather together for one of the greatest battles of all time... The battle between Shadow and Self.
About the Author: Jeremy Nicholas was born in Homestead Florida in September of 1980. He grew up loving the outdoors and arts of all kinds, including musical instruments, writing and singing. The son of two private school teachers and the grandson of a Christian Minister, Jeremy lovingly regards himself as "The Black Sheep" of his family. And, he maintains a wonderful loving relationship with them, at the same time. A lifetime loner of sorts, Jeremy enjoys reading, riding his Harley Davidson and writing. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves to fish at every opportunity. "I've never fished for fish, really. I fish to fish. Just like, I don't ride my Harley to get somewhere. I ride it to ride. This is the first book I've ever finished because I don't write to finish a book. I write because my life depends on it..." Jeremy and his wife operate a Bail Bond and Legal Services Company. Although he despises the term, "Bounty Hunter", for the sake of easy explaining, that is precisely what he does. His travels all over the Nation to bring wanted fugitives back to justice, and these experiences have spawned much of his latest writing. He also volunteers his time and resources to help the needy in his community. Jeremy is a devoted family man, and loves his wife, Jessica and their two boys, Christian and Dillion, with all of his heart. They reside in a small town in the Missouri Ozarks.
