The authors are convinced that the information presented in this book will startle the world. Since the time of the Shroud of Turin Research Project (STuRP, 1978), the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin has been argued about. Skeptics push their negative opinion based on a few highly questionable clues, while those holding the Shroud to be the authentic burial Shroud of Jesus Christ continue to do research and promote the authenticity of the Shroud. So far, neither side has prevailed also due to religious preconceptions. As far as the public is concerned, interest in the Shroud has actually in general been muted. Many, even devout Christians, still cannot conclude with certainty that the Shroud is actually a Divine Sign pointing to the effective Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This book presents startling new research and findings on a separate phenomenon, the "Miracle of the Holy Fire." The "Miracle of the Holy Fire" manifests itself on every Holy Saturday of the Orthodox church at the tomb of Christ in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. This Divine Sign is generally little known outside of communities of Orthodox Christians and Jewish and Muslim populations in the Levant. What is world-changing is that this second Divine Sign explains the miraculous image on the Shroud of a tortured and crucified man--pointing to a Divine Photograph taken at the instant of His Resurrection! This book examines this startling relationship between the image on the Shroud of Turin and the "Miracle of the Holy Fire." As this amazing relationship becomes more broadly known, the world will be shocked and inevitably changed.

Robert Siefker graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in Civil engineering on a U.S. Navy scholarship. After five years serving in the Naval Civil Engineering Corps, he pursued a civilian career in software development, ultimately serving as vice president of product development for two software companies, the first located in California and the second in Colorado. In Colorado, he was introduced to the Turin Shroud Center of Colorado (TSC), headed by Dr. John Jackson, who led the 1978 Shroud of Turin Research Project (STURP). Siefker served as a volunteer for TSC for more than a decade, reading every technical paper and book about the Shroud he could put his hands on and pestering Dr. Jackson with uncountable questions, which Dr. Jackson always worked to answer. Siefker built a website for TSC (www.shroudofturin.com) and is a co-author and the editor of the highly rated book on the Shroud entitled The Shroud of Turin: A Critical Summary of Observations, Data and Hypotheses.
