About the Author: Juan Fueyo es un científico español que lleva investigando más de veinticinco años en Estados Unidos. Sus estudios se centran en la ingeniería genética de virus diseñados para combatir el cáncer. Los virus modificados en su laboratorio, que codirige junto a su esposa, Candelaria Gómez Manzano, se han aplicado en diversos estudios clínicos en Estados Unidos, Canadá y Europa.

Profesor en el Departamento de Neurooncología del M.D. Anderson Cancer Center en Houston, Fueyo es miembro de la American Academy of Neurology. Sus trabajos científicos han sido publicados en los órganos oficiales de numerosas sociedades científicas y han merecido atención destacada por parte de medios como Science Daily, The Times, Forbes, CNN, BBC, HBO, TVE, RNE, COPE, Cadena SER y otras cadenas internacionales de noticias.
