About the Book

A young boy named Julio, accidentally discovers the last wild Paso Fino horse family in South American Andes Mountains. The boy becomes determined to see them closely, specially a young colt that had the longest mane and tail anybody has ever seen. He named the colt Melenudo, a spanish nickname for males with long hair. Both main characters, Melenudo and Julio live adversity and many adventures which make them stronger and wiser. This first book captures with words and with amazing illustrations, the beginning of this journey. There are two versions of the same book with illustrations in black and white for children to color freely and a second version with images in full color to expand their artistic abilities further, the color version comes at a higher price. More Melenudo's books will bring new adventures, collect them all!
