About the Book

Have you ever wondered where Santa Claus came from? If he is a mortal man, then he once had a family, a history, a best friend. What kind of sacrifices did he have to endure? Would he have to leave them to become this Guardian of Christmas, and protector of children's dreams and to keep the balance between hope and joy against a formidable foe "The Null" that feeds on fears and an ever desire to wipe Santa and the Magika workshop from existence.

This is the story of an eight-year-old boy named Nick who had a big destiny and decision at hand. In May, 1910, in the heart of a coal miners' town as he walked into a General Store and past the old man storekeeper, an item sitting alone on a shelf pulled at Nick's attention. A single snowman filled with sand, long awkward twigs for hands, and big black eyes and a large wool scarf with holes. As he placed it in his hands, he knew this item belonged to him, but the old man told Nick that it was not for sale and that this item is not for novelty. Every grain of sand represents a little child that Santa will inspire throughout the land. Come back tomorrow and he will decide if this item belongs by his side. As Nick travels home he is very excited about the next day but what he did not know, was at the moment he put that snowman in his hands a big shift in the universe had already happened. He slipped into the tween world and "The Null" was coming for him to try and stop his transition. Saved by a magical creature, Mortitude a cross between a wolf and a tiger and a very large guardian named Tatrunka he was whisked away just in the nick of time. When climbed high into the mountain top where they reached Magika. The working elvins, fairies, and animals slowly gazed upon at Nick in awe as the new Santa Claus but only if Nick he wants the post. You see, Santa's are not made they are born and even with a destiny you still have free will. As he ponders this decision, time is ticking away. The old Santa had to renounce his position, and without him Santa's kingdom is vulnerable to attack by The Null's desire is to wipe from existence Santa's memory, and enslave the magical creatures. Join us on Nick's journey, and meet all the magical creatures that help him along in making his decision.
