About the Book

"According to the National Institute of Mental Health In 2019, there were an estimated 51.5 million adults aged 18 or older in the United States with any mental illness. This number represented 20.6% of all U.S. adults".
I am one of those in this statistic and in this book, I analyze and discuss my own experience with acute anxiety, depression, and derealisation. My nervous breakdown came at a time when I was at the top of my game, thriving in my career, and with a beautiful family.
"How can it be possible to feel so poorly mentally when I have all that I ever wanted?"
This was the question I asked myself over and over again as my mental health ordeal became unbearable.
Over time, I worked with myself through therapy and lifestyle changes and found sincere answers as to where my pain and anguish was coming from.
As I am now at a stage where I can cope and live with my condition, it's time to share my experiences in this "How To" guide for mental health sufferers. In this book you will discover:
- How to build yourself up allowing you to cope with the daily routine.
- Why it is important to seek professional help.
- How anxiety and depression can be controlled.
- Ways to build courage allowing you to face fearful situations.
- My tried and tested methods to prevent panic attacks.
- Find motivators in life to avert suicide thoughts.

- How to enhance your mental health through gut improvements.
- Steps you can take to improve your sleep quality.
