Her background includes work in many industries, including computers, software, pharmaceuticals, corporate training, mortgage/lending, and real estate. After many years of teaching online students, Dr. Hamilton discovered there was a need for developing basic life skills in young adults. Her books and articles focus on understanding online education, personalities in the workforce, and personal finance. She lives in Arizona, is married to Robert Spies, MD, and has two adult daughters, Terra and Toni. She and Toni have co-authored a book on personalities.
