About the Book

Miranda (Mira) Welshington finds herself in the middle of what she calls "perternatural bullshit" when trying to find out the secrets of one of her clients Colin Brninklewood. While on a stake out to find the truth she discovers that he is a werewolf and that she is alone in a locked room with him while her partner Jonas watches in horror in a van outside. The begining part of her instincts take ove which makes her snarl and growl back at the beast before she comes back to her sences as Colin makes his escape out the bay window. As Miranda puts it, its where her future collides with her past. Thanks to having to deal with a run away werewolf she is forced to try and to find out more about her own past which was locked under goverment rules. Something about her records were always hushed. The only thing that was able to be known was the town and state she was born in, which ironically was he same place Colin was from on his birh mother side. Somehow she didnt feel as if there was any type of coinsidence to it. In order to find the wolf she needed to go to the town she was born in under an alias to discover what secrets there was to uncover. And what better way than to give the impression she was in search of her own birth parents. The second time she saves Colin is from a group of pale faced people that look like they were biting him. while her partner called for back up she goes chasing down one of the females through a dark alley way til she suddenly looses her. Later that night she recieves a knock on her bedroom window to where she recieves an item (not sure what to make it yet) she lost during the chase with a small note saying: I dont know what you are but you are definatly not all human to be able to keep up with me. fango... that note was the first thing that confirms the odd things that has been happening since the wolf out at the hotel room. The other was the more keen sence of smell and her stealth abilities seemed to have gotten better. Colin finds out his birth mom is dead but her people are glad to find him and wilingly help him to learn to deal with his wolf side so he can cope.
