I am Grateful - The daily practice of gratitude
" I am grateful for the sun in the sky, I am grateful for the birds that fly so high.
I am grateful for the mountains that stand tall, I am grateful for the grass that covers the floor
I am grateful for the animals and creatures that roam, I am grateful for the people that fill up my home
I am grateful for my friends and family, Mostly I am grateful for just being ME!"
The book gives story time a deeper message by sharing all the beauty in the world and how to start a daily practice of gratitude. It encourages new thoughts and sparks conversations of thankfulness, self love, acceptance of others, compassion, empathy and that love starts with being happy within yourself.
We generally set to seek out our purpose as adults and are told to take that journey alone. However what if you were taught from a young age to be mindful, thankful and practice self reflection everyday? What if you grew up understanding and practicing kindness and acceptance in your everyday life? What if your household used terminology such as gratitude, mindfulness, worthiness and self awareness? Who would you have become? What would be different?
This book connects child and adult, reader and listener to overcome themselves and practice being in a state of gratitude together. When we share in gratitude we share beyond the levels of verbal communication, and information becomes the highest vibration of energy - LOVE. It is then that we can have the space/ capacity to learn new behaviours, change mindset and be present in the moment.
This easy to read, colorful book is written to inspire growth, learning and connection at story time which will continue to develop into a life long daily routine of focusing on being grateful. The front and back page " I am grateful for..." is left with a blank space so that either the reader or the listener can say (out loud) what they are grateful for - this will set the tone for starting and ending the story time.
Read, connect and share moments of gratitude to inspire all of the little humans around you.
