About the Author: Retired corporate director Wm. Allen is just an ordinary man. A complete zero in high school, he joined the US Army at seventeen and served in both Iran and Vietnam before returning home to spend ten years as a part-time college student. After finally graduating at age thirty, he started his slow climb up the corporate ladder, earning his MBA along the way. Additionally, he taught management courses at a local university, as well as a number of professional certification review courses.
For thirty years Allen sent out a "thought for the week" to a small number of subscribers. Inspired by his positive responses over the years, he compiled fifty-two of his best into the self-help guide I'm Tired of Being Ordinary, Are You?
Now in his late sixties, Allen continues to pursue an extraordinary life with gusto-even running a half-marathon every now and then.
