While studying those who were a part of the early life of the Jesus, I began to wonder: What if we were as faithful to Him as these men and women? What would happen if we were as dedicated to serving our Lord in such a way, as did they? What kind of impact could we have on our world if we truly committed to the King? What lessons can we learn from their lives that will help us walk closer to the Lord?
While there are many obvious lessons to be learned from the great men and women of the Word, we often miss some important teachings when we don't take the time to consider the small details of the lives of those portrayed. By looking at the diminutive facts in the lives of some of the greats, and by studying those who played seemingly insignificant roles, we can learn many valuable lessons, which, when applied to our lives, will equip us to better serve the Lord.

About the Author: Ronda Nobles Nuñez and her husband, Juan, have three children: Nicolas, Christopher, and Kayla, and have just recently become grandparents.
The Lord has given her a heart for the Christians of today's busy world, as she states, "We sometimes get so caught up in day-to-day life that people, jobs, possessions, or any number of issues, take precedence in our lives. Before we realize it, those other issues have become our most valued treasures, as we have neglected time with our Heavenly Father, resulting in hearts that have drifted far from Him."
