About the Author: Der Wortakrobat begeistert das Publikum bei seinen Auftritten mit einem Spektrum von emotionalen Rundflügen, für die andere eine Ausbildung bei der NASA machen müssten. Schwerpunkt seines kabarettistischen Bühnen-Programms sind die Abgründe der menschlichen Seele - weil er sich dafür gut genug kennt. Mit Humor gespickt mischt er seine Erzählungen und Lieder unter das Publikum. Dabei bleibt kein Auge trocken, denn es ist einfach mit Armin Sengbusch über Armin Sengbusch zu lachen - und dann auch immer über sich selbst. Tiefsinn und Leichtsinn geben sich hier die Klinke in die Hand, jeder kann etwas von diesem Abend mitnehmen - und sei es nur ein Funken gute Laune. Er selbst behauptet, einer der brillantesten Köpfe auf diesem Planeten zu sein - wenn es keine anderen Menschen gäbe. Sein Humor ist schwieriger zugänglich als die Regierungserklärungen von Angela Merkel, aber nicht weniger komisch. Er ist Autor, Musiker, Fotograf und Schauspieler, hochbegabt, weil er sich einen dreistelligen IQ ausgedacht hat, psychisch vollkommen am Ende und Familienvater. Als wäre das alles nicht tragisch genug, sieht er auch noch unverschämt gut aus und hat chronische Depressionen - das Leben ist eben immer gerecht. Armin Sengbusch hat acht Bücher veröffentlicht, die er alle selbst geschrieben hat - vom Roman bis zum Lyrik-Quickie ist alles dabei. Der Lyrik-Band "Regentränen" (2005) hat sich bereits 5000 Mal verkauft, gilt als Geheimtipp in der Sparte. Beachtenswert ist auch sein Romandebüt "Das Chamäleon" (2011 bei Kleine Schritte). Als einziges Hobby betreibt er den Auftragsmord - ohne finanzielle Interessen. Außerdem hat er zwei Musik-CDs veröffentlicht und einen Sohn. Das klingt natürlich alles zu schön, um wahr zu sein. Wäre der Mann nicht außerordentlich sympathisch, so hätte man ihn längst ermordet. Aber das kann ja noch kommen. Wenn er irgendwo auf der Bühne steht oder sitzt oder liegt, sollte man das auf keinen Fall verpassen. Schon allein deswegen, weil es das letzte Mal sein könnte, denn Armin Sengbusch kommt gern zu spät, und bestraft das Leben. Aber das muss man nicht verstehen, man muss es erleben.
