Der Band Ingenieurgeodäsie stellt anhand von ausgewählten Anwendungen das breite Feld der Arbeitsbereiche der Ingenieurgeodäsie anschaulich vor. Das Spektrum umfasst dabei u.a. den Einsatz moderner Methoden der Bauaufnahme und der Modellierung nach BIM, der Indoor-Positionierung, der Vermessung von langen Tunneln gefolgt von den Möglichkeiten mobiler Multisensorsysteme, von Geosensornetzen, des terrestrischen Laserscannings und der Mikrowelleninterferometrie, der Steuerung von Baumaschinen, der Faseroptik und von Monitoringverfahren. Weiterhin werden Messverfahren und hochpräzise Messmittel für den Maschinenbau vorgestellt sowie die Kalibrierung der Messmittel mit zeitgemäßen Methoden angesprochen. Es werden Methoden zur Qualitätsbewertung der Messungen sowie zur Auswertung ingenieurgeodätischer Überwachungsmessungen diskutiert.

About the Author: Professor Dr. Willi Freeden studierte Mathematik und Geographie an der RWTH Aachen. Dort habilitierte er sich 1980 mit einer Arbeit aus der Mathematischen Geodäsie. Er war Gastprofessor am Geodetic Department der Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. Seit 1994 leitet er in Kaiserslautern die Arbeitsgruppe Geomathematik.
Professor Dr. Reiner Rummel studierte Vermessungswesen an der Technischen Hochschule München. Er wurde 1980 auf eine Professur für Physikalische Geodäsie an die Technische Universität Delft berufen. Von 1993 bis 2009 war er Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Astronomische und Physikalische Geodäsie der Technischen Universität München.

Professor Dr. Willfried Schwarz studierte Geodäsie an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. 1998 wurde er auf die Professur Geodäsie und Photogrammetrie der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar berufen und leitete den Bereich bis zum Jahr 2014.
