About the Author:
Professor Gheorghe Lazaroiu, PhD, has extensive research experience in Power Engineering. His main research focus lays in innovative biomass conversion technologies for energy purposes, hybrid energy systems and renewable energy integration. During his career, he coordinated as Project Director more than 25 research grants, and published over 200 scientific articles. Additionally, and he served as reviewer for more than 30 scientific journals and for national and international research funding institutions.
Professor Lucian Mihaescu, PhD, has extensive research experience in Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering. His research focuses on improved and novel combustion technologies, as well as on reduced carbon dioxide emissions in energy processes. He is co-author of more than 150 scientific publications and holds five recognized patents. During his career, Professor MIHAESCU has coordinated more than 30 research grants as Project Director.
