About the Book

How do humans think, and more the point, how do they come to the decisions they arrive at daily? What is the difference between a good and bad choice, and is there a formula to avoid embarking on a negative path? Author August L. Stemmer, MD, DMD, FACS has discovered the answer to this age old question and in this groundbreaking work he introduces the Judementary System for Thought Quantification. What if there was a set method to avoid decisive pitfalls in everyday life? What if the selection process in everything from human resource hiring applications to what to choose at the grocery store could be reduced to a simplified set of integers that can be used effectively in one's everyday life? In the pages of this book you will discover the answer.
About the Author: August L. Stemmer's writing experience has been both varied and eclectic over his 40 years as a writer. Over all of that time, he often observed the need for objectivity in the designation and in the quantification of human traits and decisions, as well as their outcomes for various individuals. This eventually culminated in the development of the concept of the Judementary System in his present work which is here presented. Dr. Stemmer graduated from Harvard's School of Dental Medicine where he finished with the DMD degree, and through its Medical School where he was then awarded the MD degree. He later matriculated to the Harvard Business School and received a certificate in its Program for Health Systems Management. Stemmer was instrumental in forming the nonprofit corporation, Chronic Pain Institute, and authored numerous articles appearing in various medical journals dealing with cases in his specialty of Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Stemmer was chairman of the Otolaryngology and Maxillofacial department at Chicago's Cook County Hospital and later the chief of a similar department in the Army's Landsthul Hospital Department of Otolaryngology. While an Associate Clinical Professor in the Union of the Pacific's Dental School, he gained notoriety for his research paper involving pain perception. He makes his home in California's Bay Area.
