About the Book

​Die Digitalisierung ist für den stationären Einzelhandel Chance und Bedrohung zugleich. Nicht zuletzt hat die Pandemie den Wettbewerbsdruck verschärft, aber auch den Wert der Innenstadt für unsere urbane Lebensqualität ins Bewusstsein gerückt.
Basierend auf neuesten digitalen Technologien werden konkrete Perspektiven für den stationären Einzelhandel der Zukunft entworfen. Digitale Einkaufserlebnisse können die Stärken des Handels betonen und ergänzen. Zu ihrer Umsetzung werden mobile Applikationen sowie eine digitale Plattform vorgestellt. Im Rahmen zweier Feldstudien wurden diese Maßnahmen in einer mittelgroßen Innenstadt umfassend umgesetzt und ausgewertet.
Das Buch liefert stationären Einzelhändlern und Städten somit konkrete Empfehlungen und Umsetzungshilfen, wie sie die Digitalisierung des stationären Handels meistern und die Zukunft einer lebendigen Innenstadt nachhaltig sichern können.


About the Author: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Daniel Beverungen ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Wirtschaftsinformatik, insbesondere Betriebliche Informationssysteme, an der Universität Paderborn. Seine Schwerpunkte umfassen die Dienstleistungsforschung, das Geschäftsprozessmanagement sowie die Gestaltung innovativer Informationssysteme.
Univ.-Prof. Dr. Jörg Becker ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Wirtschaftsinformatik und Informationsmanagement an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster sowie Direktor des European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS). Er ist Autor zahlreicher Veröffentlichungen in den Bereichen Handelsinformationssysteme, Prozessmanagement, E-Government und Informationsmodellierung.
Andera Gadeib ist Digitalpionierin, mehrfache Unternehmerin und Autorin. Mit ihrem Unternehmen Dialego AG forscht sie seit 1999 digital und international für Blue Chips und Mittelstandsunternehmen.
Univ.-Prof. Dr. Gertrud Schmitz ist Inhaberin des Lehrstuhls für Dienstleistungsmanagement und Handel der Universität Duisburg-Essen. Ihre Schwerpunkte sind Entwicklung, Erstellung und Vermarktung von Dienstleistungen sowie Managementaktivitäten im Handel.
