Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Führung und Personal - Generation Y, Generation Z, Note: 1,3, Fachhochschule Westküste Heide, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel dieser Bachelorarbeit ist es, intergenerative Konflikte in der Zusammenarbeit von Arbeitnehmern im Unternehmenskontext zu beschreiben und mit konfliktfördernden Umständen in KMUs in Verbindung zu bringen. Hierbei dient das Konfliktmodel nach Rüttinger und Sauer als theoretische Grundlage zur Klassifizierung der Konfliktarten. Im Rahmen dessen sollen folgende Forschungsfragen beantwortet werden: - Welche Ursachen führen zu Konflikten im Unternehmen? - Welche Risiken ergeben sich für die Entstehung von Konflikten durch die Zusammenarbeit unterschiedlicher Generationen? - Durch welche speziell in KMUs auftretenden Umstände werden diese Konflikte noch verstärkt? Als Methode wurde die Sekundärforschung gewählt. In den einzelnen Bereichen, dem Generationenmodell und den kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen gibt es zahlreiche Fachliteratur sowie Studien. In dieser Arbeit werden die vorhandenen Schriften in Ver-bindung gebracht und anhand des Konfliktmodells strukturiert. Generationenkonflikte gibt es seit vielen Jahren und auch heutzutage sind sie keine Seltenheit. Die New York Times titelt: "'OK Boomer' Marks the End of Friendly Generational Relations. Now it's war: Gen Z has finally snapped over climate change and financial inequality." Verkürzte Ausbildungszeiten sowie ein späteres Renteneintrittsalter führen dazu, dass bis zu fünf Generationen gleichzeitig miteinander arbeiten. Dies erhöht Reibungsflächen zwischen den Mitarbeitern in Form von Generationenkonflikten und macht ein gezieltes Generationenmanagement notwendig. Um entsprechende Maßnahmen durchzuführen sind strategische Weitsicht und entsprechendes Personalmanagement die Voraussetzung. Gerade kleine und mittlere Unternehmen weisen hier Defizite auf. Durch geringe Mitarbeiterzahlen können besonders in diesen Unternehmen Leistungseinbuß
