Immer mehr Menschen nutzen letztere Möglichkeit. Das World Wide Web versucht seinem Namen alle Ehre zu machen und die Menschen auf der ganzen Welt miteinander zu verknüpfen. Onlinezeitungen und -zeitschriften nehmen dabei eine entscheidende Rolle ein: Sie sind die Brücke zur Welt, indem sie auf Knopfdruck - oder besser: per Klick - die Welt auf den Bildschirm holen. Auf die Minute aktuell und visuell ansprechend. Der Tageszeitung oder Wochenzeitschrift gelingt das nur bedingt. Sie hat nicht die Möglichkeit den Zuschauern bewegte Bilder zu liefern und sich mit dem Lauf der Geschehnisse zu aktualisieren. Sie vereinigt weniger mediale Elemente in sich, ist aber trotzdem intermedial. In meiner Arbeit möchte ich die Intermedialität in Print- und Onlinezeitungen darstellen. Ich werde zunächst einige der zahlreichen Theorien zur Intermedialität erläutern und diese dann praktisch in der Analyse einzelner Artikel anwenden. Es geht darum aufzuzeigen, wo in einem Zeitungs- oder Onlinezeitungsartikel Intermedialität zu finden ist und welche Bedeutung die einzelnen Komponenten für den Leser haben. Aus diesem Grund wähle ich den deskriptiven Zugang zu den Texten. Durch die Augen des Lesers sollen die Beiträge betrachtet werden - mit all ihren intermedialen Elementen und im Zusammenhang mit dem Medium, in das sie gebettet sind. Schließlich auch mit den daraus resultierenden Folgen für den Rezipienten. Zuletzt wird die Verknüpfung zwischen der Print- und der Onlineausgabe einer Zeitung erläutert. Wie wurde ein Text verändert, um sowohl gedruckt als auch digital zu erscheinen? So soll es nicht nur um Intermedialität in einem Text gehen, sondern auch um die medienübergreifende Intermedialität.
