Folgende Trends kann man bei international tätigen Firmen feststellen: 1.Die Generationenanzahl innerhalb der Unternehmen steigt 2.Die Digitalisierung in Betrieben nimmt zu 3.Es wird mehr Frauen in Führungspositionen geben 4.Formen und Flexibilität der Arbeit verändern sich 5.Fachkräftemangel wird zunehmen Im Jahr 2014 arbeiten bereits drei Generationen mit unterschiedlichen Werten, Anschauungen, Ar-beitsmethoden und Hintergründen zusammen. Es wird prognostiziert, dass es in Zukunft sogar eine Generation mehr sein wird, da Arbeitnehmer länger leben und später das Renteneintrittsalter erreichen werden. Im Hinblick die Mehrgenerationen-Belegschaft wird es auch zunehmend schwieriger neue IT-Systeme zu integrieren. Während die jüngeren Arbeitnehmer digitale Lösungen schnell akzeptieren oder sogar bevorzugen sind ältere Generationen oft skeptisch. Die Anzahl der berufstätigen und studierenden Frauen ist in den letzten Jahren stetig angestiegen und die Forderungen nach gerechter Entlohnung sowie mehr weiblichen Führungskräften werden lauter. Die Studie "Expedition 2020" zeigt, dass der Anteil der Projektarbeit von derzeit zwei auf künftig 15 Prozent ansteigen wird. Des Weiteren heißt es in dem Bericht, dass die Zahl der befristeten Verträge auf 40 % anwachsen wird und Arbeitsverträge individueller gestaltet werden müssten. In Westeuropa wird die Zahl der arbeitsfähigen potentiellen Arbeitnehmer in vielen Ländern bis 2030 sinken und 46 Millionen Arbeitskräfte werden fehlen, so prognostiziert es die Studie "Stimulating Economies through Fostering Talent Mobility" des World Economic Forums (WEF) in Zusammenarbeit mit der Boston Cons
