About the Author:
Dr. Qusay Hassan is an independent researcher and a technology evangelist with 15 years of professional experience in ICT. He is currently a systems analyst at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Cairo, Egypt, where he deals with large-scale and complex systems. Dr. Hassan has received his BS, MS, and Ph.D. from Mansoura University, Egypt in computer science and information systems in 2003, 2008, and 2015, respectively. His research interests are varied which include IoT, SOA, high- performance computing, cloud computing and grid computing. Dr. Hassan has authored and co-authored several journal and conference papers as well as book chapters. He also published two books lately: Networks of the Future: Architectures, Technologies, and Implementations (CRC Press, 2017); and Applications in Next-Generation High Performance Computing (IGI Global, 2016). He is currently preparing a handbook on the Internet of Things to be published in 2018. Dr. Hassan is an IEEE senior member, and a member of the editorial board of a number of associations.
Dr. Atta ur Rehman Khan is an associate professor at the department of computer science, Air University, Pakistan. He has extensive experience in teaching, research, and industry at key positions. Dr. Sajjad A. Madani is associate professor at the department of computer science, at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology. Additionally, he is the director of the virtual campus of the same institute. Dr. Madani did his PhD from Vienna University of Technology, Austria in 2008. He is a senior IEEE member, member of IEEE industrial electronics society, and member of Pakistan Engineering Council. Dr. Madani is also a member of the academic council of CIIT, member of the board of faculty of information science and technology, and member of the board of studies of computer science department.
