About the Book
This two-volume series brings together 74 personal interviews with a variety of prominent cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons. These mini-biographies, published in The American Journal of Cardiology between 1996 and 2014, delve into these physicians' upbringing, professional life, and family life. They provide insights into the history of cardiology, as well as life in health care and life in the United States over the past century.
