This collection of poems is the complete anthology of G.P. Moci, which includes the entirety of his poetic work from 2016 to 2018. This anthology contains unedited and raw verses formed to poems or raw proses as they have been published just like the poet wrote them without editor's interventions. Some of the most famous poems of G. P. Moci are included in this poetry collection like the long poem ''The Love Letter of Gerard Petén Mitten'' and all the short ones from his early period. The majority of poems are about love and romance, but not as slow burning desire or a destructive fire of cuteness and beauty. The poet explores the romantic love from a perspective of a devastating future through his era, an era of devaluation and deprivation, an era of austerity and hardship, a modern world in which he looks for the values of the past as the essence of the future sinking beneath the heavy weight of survival, a contemporary research of the romantic love, raw and real, experienced thru the verses of this poetry anthology.
About the Author: Painter and sculptor born in 1986, both of his parents are visual artists, therefore he grew up with a pictorial understanding of the world. From an early age, he started racing visual thoughts and pictorial ambitions. At the age of eighteen, he was already an established painter and aspiring sculptor, but he decided to choose theatrical studies for his academic education. He studied at the Faculty of Theater Studies at the UoA (University of Athens). This decision was made mostly out of a hobby and it grew as he came in contact with classic literature and contemporary drama. At his early twenties, he made a series of unsuccessful attempts to direct and produce theatrical plays. His first literary attempt was made at his late youth. At the age of 29, he started writing short stories and poems and around that age he got the attention of the local media mostly from his flash fictions and short poems. At the age of 30, he endeavored his first poetic creations inspired from a decade of troubled personal life and unstable relationships. By the year 2016, he had collected a great number of poems and he has self published five poetry collections including his most famous long poem "The love letter of Gerard Petén Mitten". The entirety of his early poem are also published in a poetry anthology "Isabella", which includes all his late twenties and early thirties poetry and prose.
