About the Book

The story unravels as a teenager, Aryan, fails to achieve admission into his dream University, for which he was working diligently from the past couple of years. Facing a huge dilemma and pressure from his family, he settles for a college in the southern part of the country, accepting the fact that he would spend the next few years of his life in remorse.

The book describes a series of events during which he meets new people, makes new friends and realizes how melancholic his life would have been if he hadn't come down south.

The story kicks off with him unaware of a new environment, feeling scared and depressed. He meets his closest companions, namely Sameer, Rounak, Saumya and Tanisha, on this breath-taking journey of ups and downs. The story talks about his first year into college, where he learns and experiences in one year what many people fail to experience in decades. From smoking his first cigarette to confronting the love of his life, it all ends with an unexpected culmination that leaves a permanent scar in his heart.

About the Author

Tejas Walia and Aakash Sinha are aspiring authors who are presently pursuing their engineering degrees at the Vellore Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu. Tejas was born in New Delhi whereas Aakash was born in Mumbai. Tejas spent the initial years of his life in Kathmandu, Nepal. After his pre-school, he did his schooling in various cities including Jalandhar, Shimla, Dehradun, Jamshedpur and Delhi. He is fond of travelling and has explored several countries abroad. After high school, Aakash went to prepare for his engineering in Kota, Rajasthan. He met Tejas as a corridor-mate in his hostel in college and they became fast friends. Aakash is a creative person and is one of the founders of an upcoming e-commerce website to sell second hand books, bluelivre.com. At the end of first year, they decided to write a humorous romantic novella based on the college life of a fictional character, Aryan. The book initially got started when Tejas was snooping around in Aakashs laptop and he found a twelve-page MS word document consisting of the initial pages of this book. Tejas got a keen interest in what was written in those pages and decided to continue the story. Thus, at that moment began a journey and what then started out as a casual time-pass resulted in a full-fledged book.
