About the Book

Jack is an eleven-year old who has plenty of fun playing soccer. Before he can work with one of the best youth coaches in the country, he must first make the team. Sports and Life are synonymous. You can learn so much with a ball at your feet. Determination, passion, perseverance and self-discipline are some of the many lessons that youth soccer players learn through playing the beautiful game. Whether you aspire to be a professional soccer player or not, this book will reiterate valuable lessons to you. This book also teaches and revises what most coaching are already teaching their youth players; proper passing technique, how to defend properly, the right shooting technique etc. This is the perfect book for the young reader who wants to get better at soccer but also wants to be entertained!
About the Author: Samuel Adjei Jr. is a Ghanaian-American professional soccer player and author. He played for the USA U-14 and U-18 Youth National Teams, as well as for the Ghana U-20 National Team. He came up through the ranks of the New York Red Bulls Academy system. He often trained with the first team alongside the likes of Rafa Marquez, former captain of the Mexican National team and Thierry Henry, an Arsenal legend. Upon graduating from Iona College with a Business Marketing degree, Samuel signed his first professional contract with Naestved Boldklub in Denmark. He played there for two and half years. After that, he played for Hawkes Bay United in the New Zealand Premier League for a season. Outside of Samuel's passion for playing soccer, he has been a youth coach for eight years and loves working with kids. He also loves writing and plans on helping the youth get better on and off the field. Samuel's father is an Olympian who played in The Olympic Games in the Barcelona 1992 Olympics, where Ghana won the bronze medal. His bloodline is one full of soccer players. Samuel has learned a lot about life through the sport he knows and loves and plans to pass down his wealth of knowledge to kids who will read his work. Sports and life are synonymous. Samuel Adjei Jr. proves it through this Series.
